GPR Service    

Superior Inspection & Utility Locators uses Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology to provide reliable (NDT) non-destructive testing, underground locating and subsurface imaging. There are many applications for our GPR mapping services including private utility locating or to map drainage for golf courses before you dig, locating post-tension cables & rebar with concrete imaging before you core or cut, locate tanks (UST) buried underground for environmental inspections, burial site locating & cemetery mapping to identify unmarked grave sites and we also find evidence to locate buried bodies for police forensics investigations and locate sinkholes below ground or roadways. Lets not forget the original application for ground penetrating radar (GPR) technology of NDT geophysical surveys. These are just some of the services our trained GPR technicians can perform on site in real time. For those applications where you require a hard copy for future reference we also provide ground penetrating radar mapping services. We take GPR data and provide you with a detailed printout of the locations & depths of our findings plotted to scale.

    Burial Site Locating And Cemetery Mapping

Gravesite locating and cemetery mapping is becoming more important with the cost of real estate getting higher. Compounded with an aging population creating higher demand for burial sites, many cemetery operators with limited space are faced with a growing challenge. Unless there is detailed documentation of burial site locations further development of the property could be limited.

Historical Burial Grounds rarely have documented cemetery mapping of gravesite locations. Even though buried remains and caskets have decomposed over long periods of time we are able to identify the location of the gravesites using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). This technology allows us to identify specific locations where the ground soil was previously disturbed and allows us to provide accurate cemetery mapping.
Burial Site Locating & Mapping grave site locations provides a permanent record. Once we have scanned the property or field technician can mark the locations on site or take the data from our computerized GPR equipment to our office and map the exact locations of the burial sites on your digital site plan for future reference in various CAD formats.

Pipeline Camera Inspection   

Superior Inspection & Utility Locators provides high tech services for pipeline operators. We have put great effort in the development of original ideas and concepts, resulting in a range of unrivaled inspection tools.
Superior Inspection provides geometry inspection, camera inspection, and intelligent pigging or MFL. Furthermore, Superior Inspection provides solution for contaminations such as black powder, scales, wax deposit, iron sulphide, and others through chemical cleaning.  You will also receive a DVD Video Copy of inspection.

The in-line camera inspection pig is a unique instrument, which allows you to see the inside of your pipe. You can determine the quality of internal coating, check T-bars, internal corrosion, valves and valve seats, leakage or verify (MFL) inspection data. The camera inspection pig is also used to check the effectiveness of cleaning programs. Unique in its kind, the system is 100% autonomous; no umbilical is required, so unlimited lengths of pipeline can be inspected.

Superior Inspection & Utility Locators offers a full line of standard video inspection services for a wide range of applications. Video cameras coupled with our robotic transports allow or specially trained operators to inspect areas that are physically too small or too dangerous for a human. All cameras are full color and produce broadcast quality images. Pipelines from 3/8 inch to 1200 inch and larger pipelines can be inspected using our services. Camera systems for pipeline 4 inch and larger are also available as explosion proof for added safety in all environments.

Ultrasonic Compressed Air Leak Detection 

Leaks in compressed air or gas systems, vibrations in motors, and the flow of electricity past insulators all create noise that cannot be heard by the human ear. Ultrasonic “translator” equipment is used to convert the noise and vibrations into sounds that can be heard, pinpointed, and measured.
